I have to admit, I initially thought it might've been a good move for Gamboa. It now looks like a bad mistake.

I think there's still time for Yuri to salvage something from his career, but the clock's ticking. I don't like the move up to 135, but I understand it. Gamboa's looking for bigger fights. It's been said that Yuri's having money issues, so maybe there's an urgent reason for the rush.

I saw him at a boxing event down here in Miami a couple years ago, tried getting a photo with him and he denied me.
