The thing is to get inside he would have to navigate thru pac's punches and then he would have to deal with pac's footwork. He just does not have the style. Look what happened to hatton or a 165 pound margarito who tried to get close to pac. One got KO'd and the other cut up to pieces.

It'd still be troublesome, Castillo was a master at disrupting his opponents rhythm, he knew how to work his way in with a stiff jab, also I would never compare Castillo to Margarito or Hatton, come on now. A better comparison would be Cotto, but even then, Castillo's inside game was more superior and on top of all that he actually had a right hand. I'd pick Pacquiao to win, but he's gonna have to go through fire to take it.

IMO Castillo was better inside than cotto....he had better punch variety and defense also had a far better chin....also Pacquiao had great footspeed but his footwork wasn't as good a prime casamayor, Mayweather, or Johnston. People forget how Morales held the advantage outside and inside which is why he beat mannny.....Castillo would would have been a helluva test

Castillio would be stop between the 8th and 9th round. He was a good fighter who beat a few good fighters and lost to some good fighters but Manny would be on a whole other level then what Castillio was use to.

            When does this fight happens?

There was never a time that the two were fighting in the same division. ( 135 )

by the time Pac steps into his first 135lbs bout againts Diaz. Castillo was pretty much done at the elite level. He was just knocked out by Hatton and UD'd by Lujan. couple of years later he gets stopped by Alfonso Gomez.

            so yeah:

realistically and not mystically if they fought @135 Pacquiao kills Castillo.

but prime for prime JLC has that left hook chance. but that's just fantasy. Castillo's prime was not not long enough for them to meet.

i just can't see this going well for castillo, an inside fighter vs PAC? c'mon. Styles makes fights, Pac would crunch Castillo, Marquez would beat pac, Floyd will 12-0 Marquez, and castillo will win another hard fought battle against Floyd

pac-casamayor is a more interesting matchup. casamayor also beat castillo but didn't get the decision. casamayor was a good counterpuncher, good mover, and got rough on the inside. there's a reason floyd wanted no part of casamayor. slick southpaw? no thanks he will take slow fighters like corrales/castillo or bums like phillip ndou, carlos alberto rios, justin juuko and so on into infinity
