It's a trick question. The title has been vacant for 20 of the past 23 years. When it briefly wasn't, it included 2 guys that started at LW or below, both of whom took bigger challenges at 154+. DLH CW for example came in his 6th division, not 5th like Floyd. He wasn't even a 2x champ, but a 1x paper one. Plus he fought a much more challenging opponent. Even a washed up Mosley didn't ask for a CW vs Canelo, and that was no unification.

yes ggg vs canelo lara or molina,, is much better,, so guys all have similar size,,,

floyd is a blownup jr mid that only fights there for huge money, after canelo, i dont ever want to see him there again,,,,

i would like to see lara vs GGG or canelo,,, those are legit fights,,,

not just some fantasy matchup to see floyd get beat...

Lara, Molina would love to get a chance at that belt Floyd has been holding for the past 14 months, that he doesn't intend to defend as you say. That's one difference.

why does someone have to be a hater to want to see this fight? I like watching floyd. I like watching Golovkin. If this fight gets to marinate properly, it could be pretty damn big.

Yes i agree that floyd has been holding the belt hostage, but the sanctioning bodies need to strip him,,, Hopkins didnt go to 154 for oscar,, it was like 158 but yes i didnt want to see that fight because i knew oscar stood no chance,, did oscar look good in any of his fights,,, Did you like seeing lopsided fights between a small guy and a big guy, bc thats what you are asking for.... Did oscar look good in any fight at MW catchweight or not,,, Mosely never went to 160,, and mosely and oscar are much bigger and stronger than floyd,,,, Both campaigned at jrmw,, floyd doesnt campaign there....

He said he was gonna defend the belt as late as april, maybe that's why they haven't stripped him. Usually a champ will vacate if no intention to defend, within a year.

Hopkins was obviously too much for DLH, I'm just showing you how a guy that started same weight as Floyd needed no excuses at 154, and went even beyond. Hell Mosley was never even that effective at 154, and fought Canelo at full 154 while washed up, but it's too much for p4p #1, 2x SWW champ and current #1 contender. It's ridiculous how low the standards are for this guy, given his billing.
