Thurman has pop and decent speed but he fights in spurts and lunges with his punches. Against a younger, faster fighter than Zaveck, he will eat sumptuous counter shots.
Berto stopped Zaveck. Thurman being a harder puncher than Berto should have done the same.
Berto stopped Zaveck due to a cut (headbutt?) and was beginning to tire. Thurman won in better fashion. We still don't know for sure if Thurman is a bigger puncher, and maybe he just isn't. As long as he's winning, does it matter?

Berto stopped him with a cut I think, and was far from impressive, the fight was actually pretty even and Zaveck was starting to come on, I think he even hurt Berto. If it went for that cut there is a great chance Berto would've gotten KO'd.

It was a cut from a butt and Zavec was bringing it to him after the first 2 rounds. IMO, could have been 2-2 before the stoppage.
He was inside giving it to Berto
