Thurman is a work in progress,,,,, He looked very raw first time on HBO but each fight as performed alittle better,,,,,,
He is very entertaining and will be in some great fights win or lose..... He reminds me kinda of Diego Corrales, huge puncher but limited skills,,,,,
Cant wait to see the Thurman v Chavez fight... Should be fun while it lasts,,,

In the future i wanna see him fight

    ortiz
    broner
    berto
    ghost
    maidana

Chaves will give us a better idea of what he's made of. It will be his first real fight.
Hes too much of a big mouth for my taste. Someone should let him know hes still a nobody and should STFU a bit.

I still don't know what to make of Thurman other than that he can punch a little bit. He seems to have some flaws but he hasn't fought the kind of opposition that can exploit that yet. So I need to see him fight a few more times. I don't even know how good this Chaves bum is.

he'll move up too soon to win all the belts. I'm not ready to call him an elite fighter yet. If he gets past chaves, give him a bigger fight. I expect him to beat Chaves, and get the "interim" wba belt. He would have a good shot at getting the "full" belt, because broner is the real WBA champ. But Broner won't fight him yet.

Thurman imo looked better against Zaveck, than berto did if that means anything. He needs to fight some quality opposition, until then it's mostly hype.

He's not that hyped up though. Most fans are just excited to see what he could possibly do because he's a young big strong boxer who comes to fight and can ****. I don't see that many fans saying he's going to beat up anyone out there anytime soon. It's not like people talk about him the way they talk about GGG and Mathysse...

Thurman is very good and one day will be world champion I want broner to fight him... Broner says he wants the fans to pick his next opponent then there you go brother I wish you well cause he hits a lot harder than malignaggi.

I guess we are in the minority. I dont see anything special about him. He has good power. I wasnt really impressed with his last fight.

Berto stopped Zaveck. Thurman being a harder puncher than Berto should have done the same.
