Sadly if this goes to the score cards Ruslan will be robbed no matter the situation, it's the sad truth with Alvarado picking his hometown... Alvarado will be on his bike all night or get knocked out...

I just can't see how Alvarado beats Provodnikov.

Timothy Bradley has one of the best chins in boxing, and Provodnikov had him badly hurt and ready to go at several points in the fight. Can Alvarado stand up to that kind of power considering his defensive skills and boxing ability pale in comparison to Bradley?

I can see Provodnikov ending this with a big right hand around the 6th or 7th round. Ok, maybe Provodnikov caught Bradley at the right time, and thus he's being overrated some what but can you see Alvarado troubling Bradley like the Russian was able to?

If Alvarado wants to win this he has to be on his bike and hope that Provodnikov's stamina becomes an issue. But there will be moments where he is forced to trade and that will suit Provodnikov's harder hands and chin.

I feel like Prododnikov is Rios mark III. Alvarado was stopped by Rios mark I.

This fight is a toss up IMO, impossible to predict, a perfect matchup.

This is going to be a great fight. Much like the Rios fight, Alvarado will have to use movement to win. He must fight his fight. When are all these tough matchups in a row going to catch up to Mike?

Alvarado is going to win a UD pretty easily.

                    How is Mike draining Provo?

Provo weighed 152 in fight night vs Bradley

                    Mike weighed 158 vs Rios

                    Mike's the bigger guy.

So Herrera and Corely must have the best chins in boxing since they were never hurt by Provo.
