    Mike Alvarado ‏@MileHighMike303 26m
Here we go! RT @BrandonSpano The deal is done. Mike Alvarado will face Ruslan Provodnikov at the First Bank Center in Denver on October 19th

    Mike Alvarado ‏@MileHighMike303 26m
Good luck @RuslanProvod. Youre gonna need it

    Brandon Spano ‏@BrandonSpano 21m
Alvarado-Provodnikov will be at the 140 pound weight class. Provodnikov will have to come back down from 147.

I'm still picking Provodnikov, but Alvarado can win at 140. I hope the winner moves up to 147, there's nothing at 140 for TR fighters right now.

I think I might give the slight edge to Provodnikov as well, even at 140. At 147 I would have picked Provodnikov without any hesitation, really. Guy is sort of monstrous and I think he'll only get better from here. Definitely needs some stamina/defense work though.

Is there a possibility that Ruslan could be drained at 140? I hope this is not the case.

Agree on the bold, both need improvement before he can advance his career. At WW, I also would have picked Ruslan much easier, if he wins, I wouldn't mind the Pacquiao-Rios winner.

I think Alvarado is capable of winning this at either weight. Let's not forget that he also rehydrated almost 20lbs against Rios, so maybe 147 would've been beneficial for him. I'm picking Alvarado by decision.
