I quickly Googled "Mayweather sues Bob Arum" and "GBP sues Bob Arum" into google and cut a couple quotes out of those articles to indicate why relations between GBP, Mayweather and Arum turned sour and business deals became untenable. I also pointed out his bribery of a judge to indicate why people dislike him. I did these things because someone on here wanted to know the answer to a question, I thought I would quickly provide some answers whilst I was online and not doing much else. I have not said I dislike him, I have not accused him of anything and I have not mentioned the word ***ish (apart from after you brought it into the equation). You are saying that I am subconsciously or consciously antisemitic, which in a public forum is slander against my name. I don't find it funny and am highly offended by the remark as you have just made a wild assertion without any evidence. I demand that you apologize for the remark and you think before saying something like that to someone again.
The reports you have quoted as well as early Arum beliefs show later personal Mayweather and De La Hoya biases and their reasons for being so have been clear for years. I feel that your reports are selective, not one of them being a pro Top Rank one. For example did you look up Top Rank sues Oscar or Arum sues Mayweather etc. Either of these could just as easily have been the cause of the rancor between them.

It seems one-sided to me. I grew up in Dublin Ireland where we had to sneak our way home from school by back lane-ways, or have to fight through a throng of boys from the nearby Christian Brothers School, and later, although very prominent in several sports locally and much reported, I was refused membership in clubs I thought to join..... I could quote a "hundred" (figuratively) examples some of which you wouldn't believe.

I suppose it has made me a little sensitive... not to mention the little matter of the after War revelation of what happened to ***s in Europe. (which was actually known as early as 1941 but kept secret) And it happened after the War too when those who survived went back home to claim their stolen homes.

Apropos of this. A close friend with whom I grew up, now living in New York, plus several others, attempted ( it took over 50 years to get the court to even hear it) about 10 years ago to reclaim a huge very select complete apartment and business block in Warsaw their families had owned before the War, in Warsaw High Court. They had all the relevant property title deeds given to them by parents before they were smuggled out in the Kindertransport. The parents and extended families ......... Anyway, they were turned down flat. They lost the case almost as quickly as the judges could open their mouths. This was par for the course. I'm sure it must be on the internet. My friend sent me a copy of all the legal documents-this was before the case was "heard".

Apropos this (again) I apologise for mentioning this last matter; it has nothing to do with our difference of opinion which began over "boxing"..

Sorry, I do have one apology to make. I think that the long, perhaps "cobbled together" report was sent in by the other guy. But you are not blameless, you merely added some of your own in the same topic, and I think I can reasonably be excused for thinking that you and he were the same guy. (??)

By the way, there is no action available for slander on the Internet. There have been some moves made to try to get a law passed to publish the names of those who seriously slander (really libel) others on the Internet, but it hasn't made any headway.

And I never said anything about "hate-filled". I don't believe that I have ever used to term. it's not my kind of language.

Okay, well thanks for the apology and I do understand antisemitism does exist and if you have been effected by it then my sympathies go out to you but in the same light, you cannot then just begin to wildly accuse people of things and prejudge people.
I do not believe my posts were bias in any manner. The first post from NY times is Arums quote, not Floyd. It is Arum stating that he owes money to Floyd but Floyd owes him more. This is Arum's account of events, not Floyd's... and as previously stated, I could not care less who is right or who is wrong, it is merely the reason their relationship became soured. Again my next post was about Oscar and Arum and their dispute over Pac's contract, again this is clearly showing how their relationship as business partners became untenable as they are having disputes over contracts etc. I don't see how you can knock my posts because I googled "Mayweather sues Arum" and "GBP sues Arum" instead of "Arum sues (insert name here)". I know Mayweather sued Arum and GBP sued Arum so I quickly got the references for those events and posted them to answer a question. Anyway, I am done with this now, I think I answered TS original question and if everyone else wants to just come in here and argue who Mayweather did or did not duck then that is up to you guys.

Just like how they hate Pacquiao because Floyd hates him, they big up Golden Boy and Haymon because Floyd does business with them.

They also hate anyone who is a threat to Floyds p4p ranking like Andre Ward.
          This is the truth.

The truth is Floyd owed Arum lots of money because used money he owed to gamble, this is the reason why James Prince came to Floyd's gym, Floyd wasn't making huge money like he is now but he gambled all the money he owed Prince, and Arum had to take care of it and pay from his own pocket that is when Ellerbe got whooped and Floyd was hiding in the back in a laundry dryer he stuffed himself in there.
I don't know about this, but it's bloody funny.

lol they used to hate catchweights too, not any more!

If Floyd becomes buddies with 50 again they'll be back on that tip, ditto if Floyd returns to HBO. It's pathetic and amusing all at the same time.

I think your posts have been excellent on this thread but let's be clear, besides a tiny minority of the ****** population no one in Britain cares about ***s or ***ishness, indifference really is the best way to describe it.

I suspect this was some time ago? Ireland is a little backward when it comes to issues surrounding religion, they still haven't legalised ******** but remember, it's not the UK.

It's very interesting (albeit off topic) but I'm not surprised the judges turned them down, there are likely to be people living there today? I'm sure they weren't just going to turf them out. Moreover, wouldn't adverse possession kick in? (I'm sure they have some form of it in Poland).

Its just grubby little floydiots that have a major issue(which as a form of self ownage, always give us a giggle when they do it) for reasons attributed to them being bumsniff's. Everyone else just sees a promoter as crooked as the next.

There is no connection as far as i can see. Perhaps you can connect them.... do...please do...
Just reread the article. from what I gather, Floyd declined to fight in Aug since his hand was bruised. So essentially, he wasn't declining to fight Margarito, he was declining to fight period, until he was healthy. Ellerbe also said if Margarito was the best available option, once Floyd was healthy, they would take it. So I guess he felt his best available option was to become a free agent and pick the fights to get him where he is today. Maybe during that time Arum stopped making payments for the Judah, Gatti fights and that soured Floyd from wanting to work w/ him again. Why do you say that Arum & Ellerbe's comments were not in the same time period? as far as I could see, there was nothing to indicate that fact.

For who though, the fighter or the fans? I'd argue TR are very good for their fighters, they know how to build a star etc but do they regularly put on the fights the fans want to see? I'm not so sure they're the best at that.
