Lol, Derrick McGuire would have someting to say about that if he's still coherent.

James was rather ordinary until he hooked up with Bill Miller and Jackie Kallen... Rockin'

yes boxing wise he may have been ordinary, but toughness you cant train...
          James Toney a badass,,,,,,,,,,

I have no idea who Derrick McGuire is but i will google him.... MAybe toney stole his saying,,,,

Bottomline is James toney wont train, come in fat as hell, and still go 12 competitive rounds with a heavy champ........

Do you think if floyd came in heavy and didnt train and was fat that he would go 12 with say stevenson or dawson or bute, or froch... probly not..

Yes, i was going to say ike, but in reality he only had one tough fight vs tua,,,, You cant base it on one fight,, Hell vitali had a war with lewis but he isnt mentioned or razor ruddock with his wars with tyson....

Its hard to say you are the toughest fighter ever when you only have 1 legit throwdown...

I was going to say Micky, but I didn't want to sound like a fanboy.

Basically his defense was his ability to take punishment. Like you would just pound on him and he would not take a step back.

Its amazing that he isn't punch drunk as hell.

I guess Micky had a thick Irish skull.
