He even tried MMA without a MMA background. Fought the UFC version of Bernard Hopkins, RANDY COUTOURE, in his first MMA fight.

Prime Roy Jones could not dent this man's chin.

He went 24 rounds with Sam Peter at Heavyweight. Peter could not dent this man's chin, or stop him from coming forward. Peter put Wladmir Klitchsko on the mat 3x.

Toney by far is the toughest boxer I've ever witnessed.
James Toney had some superb defensive skills, if he didn't have those skills he would not have been around for very long and you would have never heard of him.

Now Iran Barkley had next to no defensive intuition and he fought everybody and anybody who was was walking around in the 80's early 90's, coming right at them with his wild wide open fight. He tended to start bleeding by just looking at an opponent and had more heart than I would ever care to see in a pugilistic opponent standing in the opposing corner.

Iran Barkley is the toughest that I've seen in my time......

'The Blade' came to fight every time out no matter where you ight be, be it a street corner or a ring, Iran would defend himself properly. James used to run from fights in his neighborhood as I heard it. Only the fools are fighting for free anyway.......... Rockin'

Muhammad Ali has to be up there in toughness. He's well known for his speed and reflexes as a younger man but as he got older we all saw now he could really absorb huge amounts of punishment and was mentally tougher than his opponents.

                  Oliver McCall gets my vote.

Toughest and most sensitive, all displayed in one fight.

Without a doubt. That toughness allowed him to take an awful beating against Holmes.
