nice guy , heart of a lion , never ran always a good fight
eveything you could ask for in a fighter
i get in debates with people saying MICKEY WARD was a better fighter than hatton lol

      wtf ?????

gave a btter fight than mosley, guerrero, marquez, ortiz,
but according to anyone on here they would all spark hatton in a rd
because he was just a face 1st street fighter

guys foot movement and bodywork was 2nd to none
Agreed Floyd was simply a different class of fighter but Hatton was no bum, he was a solid B fighter.

        by who?

        hatton's not rated....

        he's b-level at best....

but his support propelled him to great heights....

he generated huge crowds and revenues.....

but as a fighter he was basic, and did a poor imitation of duran....

imagine duran without hands of stone and limited boxing ability and you've got hatton

Hatton only won 1 rd and that was the round Floyd took off; I won't lie it's my favorite Floyd fight to watch and it was the best atmosphere I have seen for a fight ever. I think the Canelo fight in Sept may top it.

              This ^^^^^^sums things up!!
I think Hatton was a "B" fighter at the most. He was elevated by his huge fan following. Collazo beat him.

I stand by my original statement, one of the most overrated/overhyped fighter over the last 15 years... He was a glorified club fighter, his only selling point is not even his fighting, it's his PR machine with the "He is one of the lads" crap, he brought huge crowds due to that selling point. But apart from that meh, he was seriously overhyped, apart from the tyszu wrestling match what else did he do? Nothing.

Hatton was a very good fighter. I believe Hatton pre mayweather would of beat JMM & gave pacquaio a tough fight. I think vs floyd he got lost in the moment, saw red mist etc which hindered him. He got KO'd be he wasn't badly hurt IMO just tired from frustration which led to him getting caught.
