Nothing in boxing would shock me, if Garcia KO Lucas, if Lucas KO Garcia etc. I have seen enough boxing over the last 10 years alone to know shet happens. Having said that I don't see how Garcia wins this fight, even though both fighters have improve in the last 18 months I just feel like Lucas improvements are just too much for him not to win here, and he has a lot of momentum going for him right now and I see him building on that.

Matthysse's boxing ability actually hasn't improved much. He's starting to depend on his chin, athleticism and power to get people out of there.
Matthysse eats more flush shots than he should and is often caught off-balance when punching, being punched or whatever the heck he did against Peterson when he tried to just jump on him.
Garcia is going to have to make him pay for every mistake. His best bet is maintaining distance, encouraging Matthysee to overreach and counter-punching. He won't be able to maintain distance, however, if he doesn't make Matthysse respect his power immediately.
So, if Garcia pops him just ONCE early, he has a chance to turn it into a boxing match. If he doesn't, I don't think he's ready/ capable to fight Matthysse's fight.

Garcia is going to box his ass, and then knock Matthysse out. The Argentinians can't take it to the body. The only thing of concern is that you need two fists to KO Matthysse. Alexander only had one and yet still outboxed Matthysse. Matthysse has not been in with a true puncher. He's fought some guys who have decent power, but nobody with the power of Garcia.

I like the fight, I must admit to not watching either man other than a few rounds! Lucas can be hit quite easily from what I see and Danny could punch some so I think thats the fight! I see Lucas with heavier hands but can he get there? Not sure as I said I'm very green with both men. Good luck and be safe and fight hard. I plan to watch it!! Ray.

Garcia is an overrated plodder with semi ok power in his left hook. He won a razor thin SD against Ashley Theopane who is used by TMT as a sparring partner and fights around British level at best.
