Really? Have you seen any of Pulev's recent fights? His last two fights he really pressed the action, threw some great combos while keeping a solid defense.

I picked Pulev by decision but I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson pulled the upset. Like a previous poster stated, if he comes in with a "killer instinct" then he could well make this a long night.

It's also worth noting that Thompson has been relatively active this year and he just fought in July and scored that huge victory so he has a lot of momentum coming into this fight. Pulev hasn't fought in almost a year...

ok but c'mon those were against Ustinov and Dimitrenko, two big stiffs with no boxing skills at all.

Ustinov is like a poor mans Valuev. This guy ate a jab for 11 rounds and got stopped by a jab.

He's yet to face someone as slick as Tony Thompson.

The one thing that Pulev has going for him, and it's really his only weapon, is his quick jab. There is a possibility he could break Thompson down and finish him late, or win a decision if Thompson can't take away that jab. But if Thompson takes away that jab like he did with David Price in their 2nd fight, I don't know how Pulev wins this fight because he doesn't have other weapons.
