    Top 5 US Heavyweights?

How do they rank after Thompson and Scott's recent excursions?

    Imo...

    1. Thompson (Ring #9)
    2. Arreola (Espn #10)
    3. Wilder
    4. Scott
    5. Jennings

Would Jonathan Banks deserve a spot if he stopped Mitchell like he was supposed to?

In terms of rankings id have Mitchell in at 5 and drop Wilder out. You have to earn your ranking i say and at least Mitchell has gone 1-1 with Banks

      H2H would be different though

You don't think Banks has a stronger claim to the spot than Mitchell? he did stop him and I'll be honest, I think he threw that last bout.

I have Wilder in there because he beat Harrison coming off 3 wins, has a high KO % and remains unbeaten. I appreciate Audley isn't a gold standard but by all accounts on paper he was a step up on what had previously filled DW's resume.

Scott shouldn't drop too far because of today. He was robbed.

Did people drop Pacquiao's ranking much after Bradley "beat" him?

I dunno Im tired a bit drunk and just typing for the sake of typing at this point

I guess because Mitchell won the last one I'd have him over Banks. Even though Banks won more impressively.

Wilder would definitely be top 5 in my H2H but a win against a shot Audley isnt better than a win over Banks or Mitchell imo (which those guys have)

Once Wilder steps up in competition I don't think he'll be on that list anymore and once this man get any of the top fighters in the ring I believe he'll prove that he is the best US HW. Amir would smoke them all.....

The American Heavyweight is in dire straits. I didn't agree with the stoppage but Scott never had the fire to be on top. I thought he did but I was obviously wrong. Thompson is past his best but still solid. Wilder is unproven. However, these things are cyclical. We will have a champion again within the next few years.
