Donaire was chasing the guy.. Just because he got more reluctant in the final frame, doesn't mean he wasn't pressing for the majority of the fight. He got reluctant for a reason... those lefts throughout the fight took their toll on his eye....

The whole fact of the matter is that Nonito was not punching at all, he just walked forward with his guard up while getting jabbed in the mouth. Anytime he tried to throw he got popped with a stinging hard left. He didn't want to be in there anymore and he definitely showed it when he was so down on the cards, got punched in his eye and started running away like a coward.

What fight were you watching? Rigondeaux threw much more than Nonito did and landed much more. You would of had an argument if Nonito threw more but he didn't..

Lame! Who enjoys entertainment? I love watching points, it just excites me, the softer the punch the better! The sweet science, boxing, jab and move, whatever you want to call it is just great.... Rigo for life baby!

Except that time when you fought a guy with real talent then started fighting to save some face instead from the first round when he got hit with the first one turned to Nonita,ran,got gun shy, over all didnt do **** and has the balls to talk **** after wow just wow. bro , rigo did great againts nonito...schooled him bigtime but to downplay nonito's accomp is downpalying rigos too given it's riog's best win by a country mile ( like hatton likes to call it ).. their resumes are 2 planets apart... rigo does good againts a good counter puncher...we've never seen him againts other styles with the caliber near of nonitos....

didn't read the article but his past few fights he's been trying to go for those highlight reel KO's. It's making him get hit more by lesser fights (minus Rigo). HE needs to go back to boxing and the Ko'd will come.

BoxingScene.com recently spoke to former champion Nonito Donaire about his upcoming plans. Donaire said that he would welcome a rematch against Guillermo Rigondeaux but isn't 100% sure that he can get back down to the junior featherweight limit.

"As a fighter of course you want that. (A rematch) is what you want. It's just a matter of getting the weight settled. I'm not going to lie. I'm 145 pounds right now. The last time I had a lot of issues going up in weight even though I didn't eat too much. If I properly do it I can probably get down to 122.

"In two months I will know. If I get down to 130 that's my goal. If I can't then it's going to be hell to make 122. It would be like (when I used to ) go down to 112. You know me. I'm willing to fight anybody. I don't turn fights down," Donaire stated.
