Rumor is Showtime forced Garcia to fight Lucas

Apparently, Showtime wasn't going to pay for Zab II or any other fight, so they had no choice.

Showtime didn't force anything. They cannot.

The fact is, both Matthysse and Garcia share the same manager in Al Haymon. If Haymon felt it was best for them to fight, he would make it happen. And so the fight is happening. If Haymon didn't think it was a good idea for either one of them, the fight wouldn't be happening. Golden Boy knows this, and so does Showtime. Haymon had full control of the situation.
