Apparently, Showtime wasn't going to pay for Zab II or any other fight, so they had no choice.
Showtime didn't force anything. They cannot.

The fact is, both Matthysse and Garcia share the same manager in Al Haymon. If Haymon felt it was best for them to fight, he would make it happen. And so the fight is happening. If Haymon didn't think it was a good idea for either one of them, the fight wouldn't be happening. Golden Boy knows this, and so does Showtime. Haymon had full control of the situation.

Anyone really surprised? Of course we all knew he wanted none of Marthysse.
I say good for GBP for putting an end to his shameless ducking.
You know whos to be thanked for this fight happening,?
Us. The fans that never stopped calling out his ducking, that LOLed when a Zab II fight was even brought up. GBP took note, they sure did. They confirmed thst 100% when they had no other choice but to go out and say Danny ducks no one. its us that put the pressure for this fight to happen. If fans had kept quiet during alll of this, we would have ended up with another Zab Judah fight like Morales II.

A brutal KO is very much guaranteed. A bloody one if Danny manges to hold the assault thats coming for a few rounds ar least .

I thought the only people who have power to reject fights are Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, Klitschko. The only guy, who is below level, that successfully rejected a fight was Bradley on Khan.

Exactly. It's like believing it gives them some sort of satisfaction.

Garcia wanted no part of Matthyse, he knows he cannot win and will be ko'd, but he has no choice

They wanted to fight Judah again, and then have a trilogy with Morales

That's what happens when your top guy gets a long term deal. Haymon can't use his popular tricks anymore. Make such and such fight or pay fighter such and such or Floyd leaves! Haha if this deal never happened Garcia would be fighting Judab again or MAB.

Macklin didn't fight scared, he took it to Golovkin in R.3 but GGG just bodied him.

I guess you could say that but it seemed like a last resort type thing. He looked like he knew he lost as soon as he got hit.
