Lennox Lewis stated that Mike Tyson would have never been able to beat him. Agree?

What do you make of this?
I think prime tyson would have caught lewis early. the tyson lewis fought was shot to bits. he couldnt even put a combo together in that fight

I think holy would have beaten any version of tyson. lets not forget that holy was also past his best when he beat tyson. I think prime tyson would have starched lewis tho

Holmes had a pretty god career after losing to Mike. He fought for the title and beat some good guys along the way.

Anyway lol, you had to give Mike a beating because he was not going out in his prime in 2 or 5 rounds from 1 punch.

Holy was not in jail for almost 4 years. 3 and a 1/2 years out of the ring took all of Mike's skill. Mike was just trying to generate money after jail. Jail robbed his skills, people robbed his wallet.

The TS asked for our opinion and I gave mine.

Lennox was big, strong and had decent defense. He had a very good jab and and had the size that would have given any version of Tyson problems.

Opponents were scared of Tyson and that played right into Tyson's offense. You can't fight Tyson scared.

If Buster could have done it in his earlier years then I believe Lennox could have certainly done the same as Lennox is on another level. Buster was one of the few in the early years that fought Tyson with no worries.

Prime Lennox would beat a prime Tyson but if they fought enough times, Tyson would eventually KO Lennox at some point.

prime tyson aka the mike still training in his peekaboo style with kevin rooney was a force to be reckoned with.

                50-50

Tyson had trouble with big guys, people seem to forget the Tucker, Green, Smith....he was in some stinkers.

Tyson could KO1 Lewis, could very much happen. Lewis was kinda chinny. Lewis could outbox/clinch Tyson to UD12.

Toss up....I'd have to see if Tyson could intimate Lewis at the weigh in.

Prime for prime, Lennox was the better fighter. His size advantage, jab and strength would give any version of Tyson respect.

Not saying that Tyson has no chance but the odds are good for Lennox.

Prime Holyfield would have given Tyson a tougher time than prime Lewis...but prime Lewis murders prime Holyfield and prime Tyson destroys prime Lewis.

Holyfield is faster than Tyson and has no fear. He negates Tyson's punches by punching with him...and beating him to the punch! Lewis's power was just too much for Holyfield and Holyfield's punches did not bother Lewis. Tyson's punches would bother Lewis and he'd never be able to get his long punches off.

Tyson was better than Lewis in their prime.
