as it is, props to the man, wish him a happy birthday
Stiverne better take his beating like a man, want Vit to go out w/ a KO
      Lol, c'mon.

Haye has been doing nothing but calling out Vitali over the last couple of years.

seems to me he didnt really start calling vitali out until after his poor performance against chisora. I believe he pulled out of a fight with vitali before that if I rememeber correctly

If you look back at the press conference, he was shouting "I agreed to the money, venue, everything, why you not fighting me now?!" I'm not even blaming Vitali for it, because both had their reasons i'm sure.

With regards to when he pulled out, Setanta closed down, resulting in him getting nothing if the fight happened. Most people choose to overlook this fact, but that's how it was nevertheless. No matter who you are, no prize fighter is fighting for free.

I would love for Vitali to finish by fighting Stiverne then the Haye vs. Fury winner. That would cap off an excellent career. He doesn't really need to though. He can walk off into the sunset today.

If he did that, he would have an awesome finish to his career. No disrespect to Stiverne, but a fight vs Haye would be a lot bigger and he would finish on a career high payday.

I think vit would have starched haye just 5 yrs ago but I think haye would be too young and fast for vit at this stage of his career. hes just too damn old anymore. he looked horrible against charr

Yeah I probably agree. Vitali used to be a beast - but at the same time, since he came back from retirement, he hasn't really fought anyone at Haye's level. So it's hard to say, but he would most likely have beaten him. But he's still a champion so he should fight the best.

Vitali, even at 42, beats Haye.

                      Happy birthday, Champ.
