I have a feeling that Matthysse v Garcia will steal the show and be fight of the night. Whoever wins that will probably be built up by showtime as the next great champ.

I disagree, garcia vs mathysse is thee fight.at 140 and is one of the highly talked about and publisized fight at 140 in years..and if the trout vs lara fight materializes that would make it the absolute best boxing event ever,i think once its all said and done it will at least tie or break de la hoya vs mayweather by a few thousands in ppv sales...de la hoya/mayweather had a weak undercard and did 2.4..mayweather/canelo is truly starpower!

same dudes that hate floyd are worrying about whether this will break the record, shouldn't you guys be talking about pac vs rios possibility of breaking the ppv record in the states lmao.

Pac - Rios would not break any records in the states but it will surpass Oscar-Floyd in PPV sales. Afterall, the states is not the world even if you don't believe it. In the end, Pacquiao still is the PPV king.

Yes, Showtime is the WCW (or is it TNA now) to HBO's WWE.

To everyone who states the obvious (it would do better on HBO) thats the point. Showtime wants more viewership so its putting on the biggest shows possible with the biggest star. Their also trying to make a future thats why they put Garcia/Matthysse on there. I don't think anyone cares about breaking records on this one, just to get new subscriptions.
