This is an amazing card!!!!!!! Golden Boy is making a statement with card. They are saying we have the talent and we have the superstars and we're not afraid to put them in the ring together. GB still protects fighters at times but if the public is begging for it, they will do their best to make the fight.

All these guys are Al Haymon fighters except Canelo. How did he rise to power like this?

Haymon rose to power because he's the smartest manager in boxing when it comes to business. More importantly, he is the most fair. He really, really tries to get his fighters as much money as possible. Promoters don't really like this, specially guys like Arum. Haymon wants his fighters doing well financially, and isn't raping them. Once fighters talk to each other, compare purses, etc, they run to Haymon for a reason.

Lol. Schaefer had nothin to do with it. Many don't realize this, but Matthysse and Garcia both share the same manager in Al Haymon. That almost guarantees an easy negotiation process between the 2 fighters. Easy fight to make unless Haymon felt it was no good.

So far, the Lucas/Danny fight is on, worst case scenario...Danny gets injured and throws Devon in the mix, Lucas can get his rematch which he will never decline to fight Alexander. Not sure if Amir/Devon fight was already finalized.
