Or would their haters feel very differently about them?

who hates / continually posts negative comments about the klitschkos?

they're universally recognized as hall of famers. wladimir is starting to get his named dropped into the top 10-15 HW of all time lists.

obviously they'd be bigger in america.

they'd be "smaller" in europe, doe. which do you prefer?

if the K2 bros were WHITE Americans they would be seen as the GREATEST ever....its the country my man...bet all your chips on that!!....there may be a small few fans who rock off skin tone but MOST fans rock off national or local pride...I'm a local type....just because he's black or American doesn't mean I'll like him....I'd cheer for a white dude from Philly over a black dude from any where tbh

if Wlad and Vit were from Philly I guess I would like Vit a lil' bit more...but NOTHING would change for Wlad....thats my dude....been rocking with him for like a decade now!!

WHile I suspect and assume what you are really hinting at, the way the question is posed can be answered from different angles.

I notice you said records and not competition. If everything was the same, the people who criticize their comp would still criticize their comp. Everything you mentioned above has no bearing on the lack of quality opposition and lack of ATG wins on their respective resumes.

If they were from detroit or philly (again i think you are referencing something else) obviously they would be more popular in the US. They'd be US olympic medalist and Mainstream US fans would have seen them develop from a younger age and have more of a connection to them.

If they were from detroit or philly they may also have a different style in the ring. If, for example they fought like Frazier or Hearns they would almost surely be more popular. If they fought like Bhop-maybe not.

Respectfully, I think you are suggesting, as you often do, that they would have less haters if they were a ifferent color. I may be wrong. That said, if they fought the same comp and they were not white northern europeans they'd be criticized the same by people who dont' judge comp level based on the charachteristics of a fighter they like.

You are of the mindset that people evaluate the klits comp based on who they are or whether they like them. This isn't the case. Thats just a defensive posture on your part because you don't have a rational way to react to other posters that point this out.

The real question is if the klits were from detroit or philly and everything was the same, would you be riding for them so hard?

What cracks me up is the people who **** on them for not being exciting to watch and for not taking more chances in the ring but when it comes to other fighters that do the same they consider it a masterful performance that only a real boxing fan would understand and the only thing that's important is the win. They might not be flashy but they get it done every time and usually make it look easy.

he was from brooklyn, controversial, and knocked people the hell out early. he was one of the biggest sports stars ever.

imo it because most fans want the hw champ to fight like pac not pbf,

to answer the question the kilts would not be loved more they would be treated like larry holmes not beloved like tyson or ali.

thats why he was such a big star all over the world not just here in the states most boixng fans think of hw champ as a guy who would just ko his overmatched opponent out early like tyson did not seem to slow beat them down like the klits do

This is true Old England, but we are talking about two completely different animals here. Tyson was a freak of nature and that alone made him the star that he was, plus the way he was demolishing all those human punching bags alone made you want to see him again. On the other hand you got the brothers who are more crafty and practical and well systematically break you down throughout the fight and that alone does not make the casual fans take notice of their talents.
