i agree HBO is hurting, but nobody at showtime has the heat GGG has at the moment. so no doubt HBO is quick to post ratings.

indeed, IMO, this is the IDEAL way a fighter gets his shine.... IN THE RING. the last person that i remember seeing having the same heat was pac. foreign fighter coming from obscurity knocking dudes out until people pay attention.

i am VERY excited for GGG.

GGG has everything going for him when it comes to star making, even taking into account he is from a foreign land.

He can speak English (even though it is still limited and quite often humorous)
He has big skills in the ring, mixed with high punching power and bad intentions.
He seems to have a great and likeable personality outside the ring.

When people say he is the next Pacquiao, they are not far off at all. I don't know if he will reach the popularity heights Manny did, but he will certainly get a big following if he continues to stay successful.

There won't be another Manny Pacquiao, but he can be a big international star if he ends up signing with one of the big boys.... especially Top Rank. They can get him started real fast in a PPV against JCC Jr.

The middleweight divison is their for Golovkin to dominate. His rivals are a level belowand whilst Quillen is a decent champion, I dont see him a serious threat.

The only middlewieght who can beat GGG is Martinez who is a special fighter in his own right or atleast he was. The signs are that he is on his way out but if Golovkin waits and gets him at the right time, he will have removed his only threat

sergio, with his injuries & age, might be ripe for the picking. GGG becoming the lineal MW champ would be great at his age.

                  perfect timinggo

golovkins come onto the scene at the perfect time.....middleweight king sergio is on his way out with all his injuries an surgerys idk hiw much time he,has, quillin is a good strong champion but lets be real hes not quick on his feet or has a slick style so golovkin wudnt have any issues tho there on seperate networks so i seriously doubt it gets made.....golovkin gonna need to jump to super middleweight which lies his greatest challengr andre ward who i garantuee will be the only dude to beat golovkin....golovkins being groomed by hbo to be there next star so hbo will be in no rush to throw im in with the wolves with all ratings hes been getting them which is impressive.....will he ever be ppv material am sure because of his style its soo fan friendly....however he doesnt have the natural charisma of a pacquiao or the controversial personality of floyd mayweather but fans will enjoy his good boy nature

GGG needs to be on the undercard of a major fight ASAP. let everyone else get a taste.

IMO, he should consider 154. some solid scalps there.

quillin will lose his remaining teeth if he fights golovkin
