Khan would be a nightmare for Matthysse

The Mathysse hype is unreal at this point on NSB and this is from someone who liked him way before the Peterson KO.

There's no doubt in my mind that Khan would make him look like an absolute bum for a few rounds . Khan's speed is a nightmare for most fighters and obviously Matthysse's power is a nightmare for Khan.

I like Khan, but i'd avoid this fight at all costs, but knowing Khan, I bet he would be up for the challenge, which I give him credit for, nevertheless I don't think its a wise move

This fight could be intriguing for a number of reasons. If Khan can keep his hands up, his chin tucked, utilizes upper body movement (he uses his feet well, but rarely ever uses head movement), sticks to the outside by really pumping a sharp, crisp jab to the head and to body (he has it, but it isn't always consistent), and uses straight right hands, he could do well. With his speed he'll always get off first. The problem is that Matthysse has a lot power, doesn't get discouraged, and isn't a head hunter. He varies his punches, cuts off the ring well, and he has a good chin. Matthysse throws wide shots sometimes, however, and he can be caught off balance. Khan would have to capitalize on that. This would be a fun fight. I don't think Khan would be able to keep Matthysse off of him for 12 rounds. He does not have the defensive ability to do so, and he gets sloppy. If they do fight, it'll most likely end in Khan being knocked unconscious.

I enjoy watching both Khan and Matthysse and would just hope for an entertaining match. As someone stated earlier, Khan does seem to be a bit more hesitant in the ring and that maybe due to the change of trainer. A7glow gave a good analysis of what may happen. Overall good match up and may the best that night win.

Yes, this is a forum. Discussing a topic does not equal being a "boxingscene troll", if so, then why tf would there be a forum in the first place? Yes, Hopkins is extremely knowledgeable. So are a lot of the people you call trolls. Neither's opinion equal fact.
