But Johnny Tapia automatically comes to mind, also Ouma and Miranda. There are others I might be forgetting.

But the most successful in terms of fame and status is Manny Pacquiao, some people act like he was always rich so they never mention him but dude had it very tough from what my Filipino friends have told me about the poor people there they really have no hope and no chance to make it unless they leave to America.
Pacquiao lived in a hut with dirt flooring. There were times they ate only one meal a day. He had to start selling goods in the streets when lil Floyd was already at the gym learning how to box. He had to stow away to 16 hrs away from his hut to start earning in the ring as a teen to be able to send money back to his impoverished family.

Sergio Martinez's family were very poor also.

Don't like the Edwin Valero example because in my opinion it was his choice to snort ******* (although still it is a though life).

          Ouma also comes to mind

Pacquiao had to sell donuts and cigarettes and lived in a poor rough neighbourhood.

Mike Tyson also had a rough childhood

Adriana Broner because he had to steal from oldies haha and lick some dirty p*sY.

Don't see how it can possibly get worst than Kassim Ouma.

Are you trying to say Mayweather had a good upbringing? lol

Hasim Rahman had a ****ed up life before he started getting money boxing.
I guess so, I heard it a few times. In the end it started to get annoying since they played it all the time
