wasn't Victor's "hard life" story just a lie to promote the Mayweather fight? lol

Hasim Rahman had a ****ed up life before he started getting money boxing.

These three are nothing compared to 3rd world boxers,

But Johnny Tapia automatically comes to mind, also Ouma and Miranda. There are others I might be forgetting.

But the most successful in terms of fame and status is Manny Pacquiao, some people act like he was always rich so they never mention him but dude had it very tough from what my Filipino friends have told me about the poor people there they really have no hope and no chance to make it unless they leave to America.

it's not anybody from america, i can assure you.

#1 for me is kassim ouma.

matt saad muhammad was an american, and he's probably not in my top 3, but he does have a sad story from his childhood.

his name was mathew. they found him at the "benjamin franklin parkway." matt franklin [later matt saad muhammad.] his brother was ordered by his family to lead him to a train station when he was young, and then lose him. his family didn't have the money to feed him, and were evidently scum...

Well I wanna say Pacquiao left home early so his mom could feed his younger siblings and he slept on the streets of the Philipines while performing odd jobs.

There are some 3rd world places in America though. Kassim wasn't shot in Uganda, even though he was forced to be a child solder. Then he came to the great USA and got shot twice in Florida.

Ricardo Mayorga comes to mind, he got scars to prove it too.

Honorable mention goes out to Adrien Broner. He had to mug old ladies and eat diseased stripper vagina just to even get noticed.

Tyson? This must be your first day as a boxing fan.

                      Of recent times:

                      Manny Pacquiao
                      Tapia
                      Ouma

Mayorga, tons of Mexican fighters come from the humblest of beginnings, most fighters do actually, more than not boxers are from poor backgrounds, those who are raised in boxing families that have even moderate money are rare, very rare.
