I'm totally against this, although the "powers that be" don't know I'm alive.

I would like, however, to see Klitschko fight AN EXHIBITION with the Olympic winner. THAT, would set a special seal on both his career and the 2016 Olympics competition....

This is what I was thinking. Wlad will be 40 and he'll slow down..

rethinking this it might be a bad idea. Not because he will do 'harm' to those young fighters but because he'll give opportunity to haters to talk trash...

better stay out of it and do his thing for next 3-4 years...

This will backfire on him if he decides to go through with it.

Just as a good Amateur fighter is not guaranteed success in the pros, a good pro is not guaranteed success in the ams.

As Juof stated, he'll be outworked. They wear larger gloves so Vlad's chin will hold up, but these fighters are not out-of shape 12 round pot-shotters. He'll beat the scrubs, but a fighter like Erislandy Savon will beat him soundly in an Amateur fight.

Personally, I have no problem with Wlad competing in the Olympics if he retires as HW Champ first.

The age limit rule is ****** and shouldn't be considered. As long as Wlad removes himself as a pro by retiring, and this is his farewell to boxing, then so be it.

          Are you literally just nuthugging?

A world champion will literally ruin a young prospect, of course he'll do harm to them! It'd be the biggest show of ignorance by boxer ever if he decided to go through with ruining young fighters dreams by breaking rules that are there for a reason.

Now i know there is no headgear i'd say it shouldn't have ever even have been considered.

they can sparr with him in the gym. I just have 1 question - Why?

I honestly think Wlad is in lack of fans and legacy. He only will destroy his legacy if at age 40 he'll fight in Olympics. give me a break. aiming to Lomachenko I guess)

I can agree how it can work against him... I already said it's probably not a good idea. I thought it might be more competitive in 3 rounders against 40 yr old man, but again I have no experience to talk about it.

I can't agree with the first remark. Nothing wrong with either Wlad's fans or his legacy.

I agree on this. Wlad would KO them...

I was more thinking that the speed of young guys in more tactical bouts would provide some competitiveness...

but it won't probably happen anyway so no need to spend 10 pages trashing wlad.

You can compete in Olympics under 20 pro fights. Which still ******ed. I'm fine with basketball when pros can compete there, but no boxing.

No man) not sure if I should brake down how the fight will go, but there is a reason that some fighters professional and some still amateur.

hope they will deny wlad's idea. I bet he thinks that would be a great thing to win another gold, but once he will get enough hate from Real boxing fans and viewers he'll understand what kind of fool he made of himself. in 96 he won a gold medal, now tons of fighters want to do the same, but not against a damn pro champion. he should fight ****n Vitali and get his ass spanked
