People are forgetting that headguards are removed for the 2016 Olympics.

Amateurs being put up against seasoned pro's is a disgusting move, and will destroy future stars before they've even set foot in the pro ranks.

Can you imagine if these rules were adopted during Wlad's 1996 Olympic run and he was put up against a prime Lennox Lewis? Wlad would have been knocked out in a minute and he wouldn't be the star he is today.

Hopefully Wlad recognises the danger in his plans?

Are you implying you can't win more than one? Like Rigo?

Headgear is being removed from Olympic competition for Brazil. Its also being eliminated from the amateurs in general.

40 is not exactly old in boxing anymore. And aren't they going to be fighting without headgear in the next games or is that 2020?

He wants to kill AND bury the HW division completely.

I would give a fair chance to Solis that beat Haye in the Olympics to beat this version of Vitali for example.

Wlad is thinking about the good way to seal his career, not to build on it.

And yet not a single thread (about klits) can pass without your comments. You even devoted a half page long signature on that..

                    well that's pathetic...

if it ever happened i'd lose all respect for amateur boxing...

they shouldn't let him break two rules just so he can go for a gold medal.
