  • Comments Thread For: Bryant Jennings Discusses Fedsov Win, The Future

After a seven month layoff, Bryant Jennings (17-0) returned to the ring with a ****, stopping Andrey Fedosov (24-3) in 6 rounds in their June 14th NBC Sports televised showdown. Jennings was please with his performance but admitted that he still has room for improvement.

"I gave that performance a B+ for the simple fact that it was a very strategic performance and I didn't look at any tape on him so I pretty much just felt everything out while I was in there. I did what I wanted to do. I did what I was supposed to do to, win, but I could have tightened it up a little bit more. I could have used my footwork a little bit more," Jennings explained.

I hope he gets another bout soon. Jennings strikes me as a guy who will do better when he is fighting frequently.

He should look into fighting overseas. There are solid journeymen he could fight to stay busy or he should target regional belt holders or a pulev fight. Leapai top 10 WBO with 2 regional WBO belts, there is eric molina with the NABF title. Fres oquendo holds the USBA title & is ranked in the WBA...

I hope Bryant faces some big names soon and is successful. Met him after Golovkin vs Macklin ringside, and he was one of the most personable, cool fighters I've ever met. I told him I thought maybe a few fights before he fights Wlad. Maybe Tony Thompson, and Adamek, then Wlad? Hope things go his way, seems like a guy who deserves it.

Lulz He was offered 100K to fight in the final IBF eliminator but didn't want to travel outside America with his promoter citing a Charles Brewer fight as the reason. He can aim for the glory of a NABF title with that attitude.

I didn't know he turned down the pulev fight. NABF give him top 5 WBC but the pulev fight was ****** to turn down. He can't cry because he had a chance. He don 't draw like fury or adamek so he should have taken the fight...

You start off nearly every post you make with "Lulz." The constant over use makes it meaningless after a while.

I don't know about the IBF eliminator but I do know that Jennings says they offered him $25,000 to go fight Pulev in Germany. Which is a joke.

Yes they said that and then his promoter Peltz got exposed on twitter by Kalle Sauerland. The offer was 100K not 25k. I use Lulz whenever i laugh at something and if i use it often i guess its because i'm just a happy guy.
