Knocking out Khan doesn't get you much respect these days. I would be more impressed if Alexander outboxed Khan over 12 rounds.
If Alexander sparks out Khan in a few rounds, would he be more respected?

Not really because I am almost expect Alexander to hurt Khan late in that fight. I expect Khan to come out fast like he always do then eventually Alexander roughing him up inside, wearing him down then hurting Khan late with probably a Uppercut
Devon Alexander has a GREAT CHIN and is a tough dude I don't see how Khan is going to hurt him especially with this being his first fight at 147, his Power was Average at 140 I don't expect for him to all of a sudden have more Power at 147. Anybody that can take punches from Matthysse and Maidana and still be able to go 12 Rounds, has a damn good chin.Comment

It depends on how the fight goes. I feel like Alexander is more established at welterweight and might give him the edge over the Amir Khan we saw fight Julio Diaz earlier this year.
Devon isn't hugely powerful at welterweight or anything so it would be news if he did KO Khan out, even with Khan's poor punch resistance.

What I like about Devon is he's a busy fighter, especially for a southpaw. He's not the inactive Zab Judah type that sits back and doesn't throw many punches. He's a natural right hander that fights southpaw. So he let's his right do most of the work. If anything he doesn't use his left hand enough. I think he will hurt Khan the first time he lands that short right hand clean on the inside. So I believe Devon stops Khan in 8.Comment
