I looked for this video and couldn't find it...how about posting it.

No, I'm sorry, that's complete and utter bull****.

Don't act like your opinion is that of everyone's, because it isn't. You act as if he is all power and so does every fighter who faces him. It's the same with what Gennady said to Andre ward when he questioned his defense. In short; people are doing nothing but self-deception when they say Gennady does nothing special and everything is about his power.

I generally like your posts, but really, the one above is just ****** man. Watch his footwork, he is literally always in position to throw punches, he has great technique on his shots and twists his wrist often to transfer the power more effectively. He stalks fighters in a very special, calm and calculated way, he also does not waste shots often and clearly has a high ring IQ and knows when to place what. His defense involves excellent judgement of distance, he often does not give the other fighter the setup to throw there shots while allowing himself at the same time to throw his own.

To say Golovkin does nothing special is a blatant lie, he does plenty of things special, and that's why he is so hyped, all of the above if what helps to aid and create his power which gives him the KO, he isn't some damn bum-brawler like Rios, he is a boxer who knows what he is doing.

He has plenty special and many people already can see this, not just pros but fans too... jeeze.

Alright I just got confirmation of what went down. My man Pearly J was at the gym and he told me Golovkin just got done eating a massive amount of his favorite food, meat, and was feeling pretty bloated. Nonetheless he sparred. He took a shot to the gut which made Golovkins knee dip a bit and briefly brushed the canvas. Golovkin then started laughing hysterically and said, "Punch tickle fat belly, just too food much!" GGG then proceeded to relentlessly whoop on the guy

Yeah Golovkin is pretty elusive for a come-forward fighter and his footwork is amongst the best in the sport. It's not just power, far from it.

You need to distinguish between good and special. GGG has good ring IQ, Mayweather Jr. ring IQ is special. GGG is good at applying pressure, Chavez Sr. was special when it came to applying pressure.

i don't like his foot work..........i think he has good power and a good jab. theres really not much else to him......he stalks in a very special way? against macklin at times he was walking in with his hands to his waist (and not moving his head at all) a little bit like chavez jr..........

good power, good jab, but overall i don't see the footwork nore the ring IQ or anything else like that.............

a powerful aggressive fighter (with a decent jab) is what i see.

people are adding more qualities to him all because of his knock outs..........

                  it's gotten ridiculous........

Maybe GGG tripped on something but I don't believe that guy dropped him.

His offensive footwork is fantastic for the purpose he uses them. You watch him fight and his opponents are worn out just trying to create distance from him. People have a difficult time seeing it though.

To me the best offensive footwork in the past 20 years though was Ricky Hatton's. So many overlooked it, but he could cut that ring off and be on top of you in the blink on an eye.
