If Miguel fough Floyd with that same style he fought Judah,Gomez,Quintana and all his opponents prior to getting cheated I have no doubt that he woulda beat Floyd. Just not sure about the whole "if cotto fought like the ko artist he was... Its easy to be thought of as a ko machine when fighting limited competition,, Cotto was leaps and bounds better than quintana, gomez, judah,, Judah was starting to take over the fight but cotto lowblowed him alot in the mid rounds...but Cotto even the 2006-2008 version wouldnt be ko'ing top guys like mosely, floyd, etc....

Cotto got beat by margarito because he was in with someone who walks forward throwing a ridiculous amount of shots, who was bigger, stronger and was someone he couldn't hurt. That's it. Prime margarito would always beat cotto. Get over it.
