I do think if margs didnt cheat and cotto beat him,,, that would have been huge because cotto would have cleared out the division beating judah, shane, and margs.

Their would have been huge pressure on floyd to fight cotto as both were undefeated and in their prime,, Probably wouldnt have been as big as floyd/manny fight but a floyd/cotto fight in late 2008 or 2009 would have been epic and been as big as tito/oscar..

Its really a shame what happened to cotto in the margs fight,,

i still think he probably would have beaten cotto. cotto had a very ****** game plan, a gameplan that worked better the second time around.i never really understood why the guy didn't focus on going to the body from the very beginning. are marg's overhand rights really that difficult to avoid?

Photos of margs wraps after the fight,,, They clearly show plaster clippings on his wraps.... I was skeptical until i saw that.....

You are right, cotto's defense was ****,, Dude was always a sucker for the uppercuts,, torres, judah caught him with those, and shane and chop chop also landed alot of leather on him......

He fought much better in the rematch with margs, but that was a shot version of margs....

Watch the faceoff from margs-cotto 2... Cotto grabs an IPAD and has these pictures of margs wraps as they are taking off his gloves in the ring...
It cleary shows something that isnt gauze or tape.. gauze and tape dont flake of like this.. It was clearly a foreign substance that hardens...

I am not that tech savvy to search for the hbo faceoff and freeze frame it, and cut and paste it here... Im sure other posters have seen it..
