To be serious for a moment, I liked Diaz as well. They were a great pair because Cotto needed to improve defensively especially at jmw. I've read that Roach plans to get Cotto back to working the body. I just don't see how this pair does any better than Cotto/Diaz. I don't know if anybody can help him at 154. Cotto is just too small there. He needs a nutritionist and maybe he can get back down to 147.

Diaz was perfect but I think Cotto tends to blame his trainers when he loses. I'm a Cotto fan but he's switched trainers way too many times.

Old dogs don't learn new tricks!!! Freddy can get Cotto motivated and can bring him excellant spar work and get him in top shape!!
Cotto needs to fight someone who's on the move and doesn't bring power. If he fights a guy with power he going to get busted up and hurt and won't make any difference whose in the corner!!!
I'm tired of saying his best is behind him but these guys can't walk away, I understand it!!
He can fight the right opponents and do well and Freddy is excellant if Cotto needs to press and punch the body!! Good luck to him its all sad to me!
