    What's next for Lara?

What do you think is up next for Lara??He won an exciting fight his last time out,do you think he can fight a Kirkland or Trout??Would you like to see him in against the winner of Mayweather Alvarez??Or maybe even the loser??Some thoughts?

Canelo's mandatory he's been dodging for quite some time. Golden Boy hates he beat Angulo because they can't keep him shelved and quite while Canelo gets the big opportunity to fight Floyd.

Trout is definitely the most logical option. Definitely could be a decent fight since Trout hasn't been in a bad fight since drastically stepping up his competition against Cotto & Canelo. Lara also has the confidence of hurting/stopping a tough guy like Anglo so I think he will be more aggressive and have better fights.

If he beats Trout he's definitely logically next for Canelo/Floyd as the next best contender at 154. Cotto/Lara would be badass though.

If Golden Boy wants a fight with Trout, that would be cool. It wouldn't be fun to watch, I expect, but it would be a very good fight. I'd like to see the winner get Alvarez, win or lose against Mayweather.

Mayweather isn't fighting Lara or Trout. I'd like to see it, but he isn't.

Excellent post. I can't really add much to it. Cotto/Lara would be a hell of a fight. I think Lara would stop him late. But like you said Trout/Lara makes the most sense next. Lara really deserves a title shot but he has to wait for the dust to settle on September 14th.

I don't think Lara Cotto would be competitive at all. It's a good fight for Lara. Not only would he beat Cotto easily he would also get his name out there so random fans would start to recognize him. Lara isn't a big name and way too dangerous so Floyd will not fight Lara unless he starts to make some noise.

Personally I think Lara would beat both Floyd and Alvarez and Trout

Lara has always been willing to fight whoever and you can tell by his resume. Only problem is/was nobody wanted to fight him.

But now he has some options. Rosado who has a 2 fight contract with GB after Love is interested in fighting him (I think) so that's an option. Then there's also the Trout fight. Lara was supposed to fight Robachenko but I'm not too sure if Sergey wants it.

Trout is the best opponent, as Bo said it may not be entertaining but on paper it's a damn good fight.

I Don't know if I like the Lara vs trout fight.... I'd go with him vs Rosado.
