It's more the fact that Haye's style is all wrong for him which I suppose is why cherry-picker took the fight.

I would still have given him a shot if he was allowed to work the inside, but Booth will have the style of ref sewn up too.
Yes fighting a unbeaten giant ranked higher than you is à cherry pick

    So much hate jesus

        He isn't ranked higher though.

        Haye is ring #4, espn #6, tnb #3, yahoo #5, WBA #1, WBO #4, fight.news #4
Fury is either below or well below in all those.

The only organisations and rankings which have Fury above are the WBC (by one place) and the IBF who do not rank Haye in their top 15.

Haye sees this as another opportunity to earn easy money, he has said as much himself, I hope it blows up in his face.

So he is indeed ranked higher than Haye

lmao@bringing up YAHOO and fight News

Come on man you come off as a hater, its sickening

Fury is a genuine challenge for any boxer, he has some good wins under him, he's unbeaten, he's a giant

If Fury is a cherry pick then you have lost the plot.

Haye is a good boxer but lets not act like he is above the competition, Fury is in with a shot, a guy of that stature and record can never be classed as Cherry Pick for anyone.

This is a fight that everyone seems to see correctly. That's rare. The first half is all about Haye getting the early knockout and catching Tyson with a huge right hand that he doesn't see. Tyson can be out thought and out sped. Anything past five rounds and Tyson may begin to impose his size and weight on Haye when he gets inside, and just wear Haye down and then it becomes his fight. Haye has poor stamina and Tyson will make him work. I still feel Haye will not be able to miss Tyson with right hands and will end it abruptly.

No he isn't, and you can add the IBO as another organisation who have ranked Haye higher.

He's clumsy, slow, soft punching, fights small, has no defense, moderate offense and no concentration. His cousin Hughie is a million times better. And it's not even because I don't like Tyson, I'm actually beginning to warm to him. But I'm just comin to terms with the fact that he's just not that good.
100 percent agree with you. However Fury is always improving. I remember a couple of years ago the man had no technique whatsoever. Tyson Fury also has some good attributes. He's got a great engine, he can throw combinations to some extent and he has good movement for such a big man. If Tyson can weather the storm early on I do believe he has a shot. It is a big IF though.

I think unlike Fury, Hughie is a special talent. If he continues to improve I think he could actually be the future of the heavyweight division.

Boxing is more than just technique and boxing skills. It's also about heart and how much you want it. Tyson comes off as a man who truly believes he's the best or at least can beat anyone out there. A man who will do anything to get the win. I like Tyson's confidence and mindset....He comes to fight and is not scared.

However On paper Haye should win and I really do hope Haye wins but Tyson will be a very live underdog. If Haye fails to KO Tyson inside six rounds then this is going to be a very interesting fight.

Cosign. I am picking Haye but calling Tyson a cherry pick is ridiculous.

After Vitali, I'd say Tyson is the most dangerous guy Haye can face in terms of possibility of being knocked out.

If fighting Fury is a cherry pick, guess we need to import some fighters from planet Namek or something.

meh... don't see what all this hype about Fury is all about... he fights too small as mentioned by someone else in this thread and he's never faced power like david Hayes before... Cunningham (a light punching cruiser) had the guy all but beat with to be fair a decent right hand but you have too look back at that point and look at the punches Tyson throws and leaves himself open... he's been a lucky man so far but Haye is going too obliterate this guy,I'd bet my house and kids on it

Cunningham landed with punches he shouldn't have been allowed to land and Tyson got away with it because Cunningham hasn't even knocked out a cruiser and any stoppages he does have is mainly from volume of punches same as any guy Fury has fought...

Haye is an unbelievable speciman who has been overshadowed by a loss too one of the most dominant and physically advantaged heavyweights to ever lace them up in Wladimir Klitschko.

You're dumb if you think this sideshow could survive Haye,Haye would give any heavyweight past, present or furture a run for their money
Even in Hayes only other loss against Carl Thompson he looked devastating and I'd choose that version of Haye over Fury
