Finally, someone said it. I think one of the most dominant performance I've seen from Mayweather was against Gatti. He actually took the fight to Gatti and beat him badly. Like he said, he wanted to punish Gatti, and did in that fight. Contrary to the revisionist, not many people thought he would be that dominant. Gatti was the all action hero HBO had been salivating over for a few years but Mayweather shattered that image of Gatti in 6 rounds. Other than that fight the other fight of Mayweather's I liked was against Augustus. Between the round before the TKO, Mayweather had this look on his face like he had no answers for what Augustus was throwing at him. Yet he was able to go out there and get the TKO. In order to be the best at what you do you have to go through moments like that. I guess having a lot of skills on top of it don't hurt either.

i'd say the Hopkins that fought Tito was a better boxing night then that.

I like the Demarcus Corley fight because it was one of his most difficult fights that no one seem to know about.
And the Genaro Hernandez fight is cool too.
The experienced champ gets pummeled by a young Floyd who takes his first belt.

The Gatti fight was great but nobody really believed he had any chance at beating Mayweather

Well Mayweather is levels above Gatti..of course he's going to look good.

De La Hoya, Mickey Ward, Baldomir, Alfonso Gomez all looked good beating Gatti.

Floyd was sensational that night. He looked unreal. However, the Duran from the first Leonard fight beats that Floyd regardless.
