Who actually did the "running:" Rigo or Donaire?

the only round where donaire was explicitly running/back peddling/moving backwards was in the last round when rigo landed that huge left hand that caused that bad swelling under his right eye...

for the most part donaire was coming forward trying to be the aggressor while rigo was boxing and moving...

That said, Donaire was clueless on what to do when he did catch him.

Rigondeaux's running was glaringly visible. It's uncomfortable to watch if you're a fan of his. It's like he wanted no part of the action.

1. Somewhat true. He clearly beat him

2. False. He didn't truly feel Rigo's power until the 12th or 11th when he started seeing double (covering up his eye with his glove)

3. Donaire already said he wants a rematch but perhaps they should fight other people first. False

Neither ran until the 12th, when Donaire got his eye popped and started backpedaling. The rest of the fight was a boxing match, and for the first few rounds they stood in front of each other.

I'm probably the only one but I actually enjoyed their fight. the first 6 rounds was tense as hell. How often do you get 2 prime fighters, fighting each other.

Same here, the fight itself was boring with all that running from Rigo. It's probably the reason HBO and TR don't want him anymore

i hate runners too but i dont consider what rigo did running...he was conservative with his punches tho .. derrick gainer vs jmm was running, floyd vs baldomir was running , not rigo vs donaire...

even if he was, you cant really blame the guy , he was fighting a very good fighter with ko power in both hands...

it was noticeable tho imo that nonito had one game plan coming to the fight and thats to land that lefthook expecting it to be over which was a big mistake.. in fact when he threw right hands , rigo was not hitting back (he knew that left could be coming) exept in the 12th round when nonito threw it from way too far while chasing rigo in straight line , which resulted that eye injury courtesy of rigo staright left...
