Who actually did the "running:" Rigo or Donaire?

Neither ran in that sense, both are counter punchers so it led to a less than exciting fight. Donaire was the one who had to change his style to initiate the action, and once Rigo started catching him he was afraid to let his hands go.
Both are great fighters, just Donaire couldn't adjust to being the aggressor and throw combinations. Seemed like he had no other game plan other than go for the left-hook KO which is disappointing for a fighter of his caliber. Donaire could've easily let Rigo initiate the action, but he seemed to be affected by the boos and tried to press the fight.
It's like when Marquez fought Mayweather- Marquez is an amazing fighter in his own right, but fighting out of his style made him very uncomfortable. Doesn't help that both Rigo and Mayweather were faster than them either so every time they threw the first punch, they could expect a quick counter to follow.Comment

Didn't you get the memo, bro? Unless you come straight forward, throwing punches in windmill fashion, you're running!

lol true, in the first two rounds when he felt Rigos straight left, he didn't want to feel it again.Nonito fought aggressively at first then got the **** countered out of him. Then got scared and ain't wanna throw anything anymore. That was the real reason the action halted. Had he kept throwing we would gave seen him get hammered in more entertaining fashion. Lol but he fought scared the rest of the fight cuz he had nothing for Rigo.Comment
