Do you really think that Ward has the required punching power in order to "expose Golovkin's defensive flaws"?
What Ward does best is prevent his opponent from using his usual boxing style.
Which, in this case, seems not enough for me.

This translation is plainly wrong. Golovkin gave an interview in Kazakhstan where he said the following:
Question: Some commentators, Ward for instance, say that you are strong in all components, but do not pay much attention to your defense, and in the fight with strong throwing puncher this can be risky. What can you say about this?
Answer: (wondering) I don't know why they think that I do not pay much attention to defense?! Macklin also had been saiying, that I have not enough experience and neglect defense. I've heard that. I would say that in my twenties I had already had more experience, than they have in their thirties as professionals! This (that I neglect defense) is no more than a wishful thinking (on their part). If some time during the course of the fight I omit defense, that doesn't mean I am not defending myself. It could be that I am just daring an opponent to try. Looking (at his reaction). That's what the tactics are about! Had I neglected my defense, I would've got broken bones, cuts, knock-downs, knock-outs. Never in my life was I KOed or knocked down!
