Alvarado will have not problem dispatching Provodnikov. He went life and death with Bradley because Bradley fought the wrong fight. I'm sure he wouldn't get the same results against Alvarado. Provodnikov is a C-level fight at best. But of course the "Be a man" comment has all the 12 year old "girls" on here hot and bothered.

To be fair, I would imagine Top Rank's dollars go a lot further in Siberia than they do in the US.

Also, I don't think Provodnikov got robbed on the cards. The ref's 2nd round decision was questionable though.

        Why should he?

I want to see Provodnikov fight anybody! The truth is Alvarado should be the one fighting Pacquiao, but due to his injury he's not. So the question is... is Mike healed and ready to fight? If not why wouldn't he sit back and get the winner from Pacquiao vs Rios? He's already going to get the winner of that fight and doesn't need to take risks fighting Provodnikov to do it.

This dude only lost once in his career which was a fight that he said he trained poorly and starved himself to make weight (hence his move to 147); a SD loss by the way.

He would smash Alvarado.....if Rios can wobble him with a jab, what do you think Ruslan will do to him?
Who has he beat that makes him a beast at 147? For real name one GATEKEEPER this guy has gotten past. Because looking at his resume I see absolutely no need to call him a beast.

And Rios is a monster. His jab can be counted as a power punch because all he throws is bombs. I Ruslan doing absolutely nothing to Alvarado

Come on, if he beats Provo, he'll get the Pacquiao-Rios winner. Marquez-Bradley winner seems to be being angled towards Cotto.
I didn't know this was the scheduled date for Alvarado's next fight. If this is true that whole, he's injured thing is total BS. If he was too injured to fight Pac in November how is he all of a sudden healthy enough to fight Provodnikov in October?

I wonder how much money Arum offered Alvarado. I do think Arum should try to accommodate him somewhat if he is asking for more money. He has given TR 2 great fights.

Alvardo is a btch. Ran from rios instead of slugging it out like in their first fight. Certified btch
