Now I don't know WTF is going on with Russell Jr if he turns down this fight.

Can't say nobody wants to fight him because Ponce De Leon and even Abner Mares wants to fight him so I don't know WTF is going on with Gary Russell Jr now.

He said he want to test his hand out for his next fight then he will go after a title after his next fight. The dude is more then ready to step up competition I don't know why the hesitation maybe because of the fragile hands. But with that just like Mayweather you cut down the work rate and go for ACCURACY! I know he likes to show off the hand speed with those flashy combos but if it is ***in up your hand then you gotta switch things up.

The fight could still happen later in the year, he didn't say in the interview that he didn't want to fight PDL. He'll step up in his next fight if everything goes well in August.
