The only thing Floyd carries is heavy cheques. Boxing was fine, better even without him when he 'retired' the first time and it'll be so much better when he retires and takes his circus with him. The wife beating, the once a year mismatches, the ducking, the cherrypicking, the failed drug tests, the excuses, the bs, the flowmoes, al Hymen etc. The guy is a stain on the sports history as well as its present, could have given so much but decided to just take instead.

If Floyd wasnt around you'd jump off a 12 story building. The only fighter you ever talk about is Floyd. If Floyd wasnt around you would no longer exist. I can live with that if you can.

Canelo is the first very highly intriguing fight he's taken since he fought Oscar and Hatton in the same year.

With exciting fighters on the rise such as Matthysse, GGG, Broner.. boxing is absolutely fine without Floyd.

The Pacquiao era ended, the Silva era just ended for MMA, if Floyd's run ends as well it will have been one hell of a 12 month stretch. It certainly won't hurt the sport at all if Floyd loses to Canelo somehow. Just the opposite actually.

Manny Pacquiao carried boxing since 2008 with the win against De La Hoya.. As much as people hate to admit it... And it's only because Pacquiao had a nice and good attitude about life...

More people respond positive towards a positive person, than some wannabe thug or $h!t talker like mayweather chose to be...

Manny Pacquiao since 2008 till he lost to Marquez on their 4th meeting was the face of boxing, and this is true.. because of Manny Pacquiao there has been a whole mess of new fans of boxing from celebrities to normal people that never liked boxing until Manny Pacquiao came along.

And Like I said it's only because Mayweather chose his role as the wannabe thug, bad ass, showing off that "I HAVE MONEY, YOU DON'T"....

His famous quote used to be "DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ME AND ALL OF YOU IS, MY $h!t IS PAID FOR, WHAT ABOUT YOURS" etc.. you don't get fans by showing off or talking $h!t.. you get more fans by just being a humble nice guy...

Even after Pacquiao lost to Bradley he was still the face of boxing so from 2008-2012 Pacquiao was Boxing... Another thing that didn't help Mayweather is fighting once every 1 1/2 years.. sometimes he wouldn't fight for almost 2 years...

How can you keep a fan base when you fight once every 18 months... Someone tell me I'm wrong... And keep in mind I am a fan of boxing... not just of Pacquiao, but of Mayweather also.

This is such a joke. Floyd may have carried boxing for a US tv network but mostly he alienated as many fans as he won. Manny popularised boxing beyond the casual viewer, it helps that people actually like him as a person. Floyd is not liked. But he is respected as a true master craftsman in the ring. His own personality or lack of has limited his crossover appeal and he certainly doesn't stand up as a role model for young black Americans. The guy is a walking cliche, still fantasising over the Tupac persona he so craves yet without the poetry or charm to pull it off.

Questions:

If he's not popular, why do people consistently shell out so much money to "see him lose?" You do the people care so much about this guy losing? LOL & SMH

Before the next question, I want to be clear about a few things...I do wish tha Pac fight would have happened, the Nelo fight was @ 154 & I do wish Floyd would have fought all these so called threats because I like to see him fight.

Next question:

If all you do is complain about Floyds style (pot shots), why would you watch his fights but more importantly want him to fight Marg when you know that's exactly how he would of fought him? We all seen the Baldo fight!!!
