Junior welterweight contender Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23KOs) feels very good about his chances to give eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs) his second consecutive knockout loss on November 23rd in Macao, China. Last December Pacquiao was knocked out cold in the sixth round of his fourth meeting with Juan Manuel Marquez. Rios is not focusing on Manny's last fight and expects to face the best Pacquiao possible. At the same time Rios is not taking any chances in the fight by allowing the bout to reach the judges.

I'm picking the upset. Its hard for me to imagine Manny coming back from a viscious KO like that. I think his skills will be intact and I think it will be an exciting fight, but once Rios lands a bomb, Manny will fold. Its very few guys fighting on this high level at that age that can come back and have the same punch resistance against a ****er like Rios. Roy Jones stays heavily on my mind for this situation. Once Jones was crushed by Tarver, he was never the same. If Manny does pull it off, I still see him getting dropped and having to fight for his life to get a close win. In other words...Pacmania is over.

i like Rios outside the ring. Very charitable guy who takes care of the sick and needy.
Inside the ring or in a boxing environment... this guy is so annoying.
I feel really sorry for him.... he's getting fucked up.
I hope that people really feel he can upset Pac and line up at the bookies.... because I want better odds

Manny took 229 punches vs Margarito, with Rios having the same style, will Manny be able to withstand that punishment with his chin appearing to be shot, this is exactly why I think the Rios fight is a dumb choice for a post ko Manny, Manny isnt smart enough to simply box Rios til he tires and wear down; he'll be drawn into a war, and with how JMM was suddenly dropping Manny I dont know if hes able to dig down and go to that war mode, especially in his very first fight back post ko, with the inactivity and all...........................

i can't wait for this fight for everybody who said Pac's chin is shot to eat crow.
He took a perfect counter punch from a guy who's given Pac problems his whole career.
Rios is just going to chase him, get hit, cut and stopped.
Then everybody will say Pac is back and so is his chin.... or the people who keep saying Pac's chin is cracked will say that it still is and Rios just isn't the guy to do it and "next guy" will

People seem to think Manny is shot for some reason. JMM is a hall of fame fighter and it was a very competitive fight. Unless one bad KO can affect your chin forever then I'm sure Manny totally out boxes Rios and badly damages his face.
