Unless this message is out of context, or I'm mistaken, I think an experienced boxer and aspiring businessman like Cotto should know much, much better than to exclude his fans from his stated reason for getting back in the ring.

This message struck me as being unabashedly (and cluelessly) selfish, specially considering that it's presumably addressed to his fans.
