Cotto ran through the welterweight division for except that 1 excused loss to margarito. Cotto is one of the cash cows in boxing. Cotto sold out the garden several times. Cotto makes his own decisions. Cotto gave the best fighter in boxing a run for his money. 3 division champ and when he gets in the ring, he gives it his all. straight warrior. Real boxing fans give this man his credit.

Hes still a free agent and only hooks up with a company for 1 fight deals. Good thing hes never been one to badmouth anyone is that he leaves open doors whenever he leaves. If a Canelo fight came up as a good business move hed go back to GBP for that date and so on.

Cotto's career should go like this

Oct 5 - Delvin Rodriguez - Miami or Orlando
        March 2014 - Marquez-Bradley winner - New York
September 2014 - Saul Alvarez - Las vegas

If he wins those fights he can hang it up with a rematch with Pacquiao or Mayweather.

If Bob was really about making that money he would of put Cotto-Rodriquez as the cofeature of Marquez Bradley.

Don't get me wrong Marquez is my favorite current fighter besides Hopkins, but him vs Bradley isn't going to sell that great.

Cottos my boy too. Put him with Marquez and Bradley and you have yourself a solid event.

I think Cotto after this fight will take a long look at the Marquez/Bradley winner, but would he be willing to go back to 147? Catch-weight at 150? Or does he look at taking on Carlos Molina or Ishe Smith for a belt?

He could look at Canelo if he loses to Mayweather and Austin Trout rematch is a possibility as well. If Cotto is serious about staying on HBO then I'm assuming he'll take on the Marquez/Bradley winner or Carlos Molina.

I think Marquez vs. Cotto would do big numbers on PPV for Cinco de Mayo.
