He may or may not deserve that, but he probably will get little more than half of what Broner is likely to make.

When are people going to realize styles make fights? This is a fight that will be made for Broner to look like some monster. I can't stand Broner more than most & would love for some1 to knock the living **** outta him but I can tell u right now it wont be maidana. People fail to realize that this fight was already in the works b4 lopez vs maidana, I had already predicted the second maidana knocked down lopez the ref would wave it off, golden boy has refs on payroll in ca. & now that this possible fight is getting tons of attention maidana realize this is a very high risk fight and wants the compensation which is understandable. There are only 3 fighters maybe 4 I think that can beat broner: mathysse, thurman (who should be broners mandatory if he wins) and some may laugh but victor ortiz and/or tim bradley. But I doubt broner will ever fight any of them, he'll fight guys like maidana, guerrero, & brandon rios.

If Maidana is a mandatory then he goes with the rules of the organisation, which would be a % of what a challenger gets, so he does not have the right to ask for silly money or payday, he should care more about getting that belt off Broner.

Umm no, it's about your numbers and how many asses you put in seats. Broner and maidana purses will be significantly different. Broner will make over 1.7 mill while maidana should make 800k
