Damn dude..I was waiting to hear from you. You lead the Matts express imo. Gotta give it up to DSG. I was rooting for Matts all the way, Danny was just the better man.

Congratulations to Danny Garcia on a great win.

I was much more impressed with his overall game than i have been in the past. His footwork and defence in particular made it difficult for Matthysse to unload like he would have wanted (though i thought he was getting through more often than commentators and fans were giving credit for).

A few random thoughts though... Garcia was lucky to have had his moutpiece knocked out cos that punch ****ed him. Watch how he walked around the ring after.

Garcia said Matthysse didnt fight through the adversity... ay? Other than the first few rounds with the swollen eye i thought LM equipped himself pretty well.

Personally i would love to see a rematch, though obviously would not begrudge Garcia moving on to bigger 'money' fights should they present themselves.

I stay away from the forums after big fights. Too much ruckus goes on.

Good to see you back. Respect to both men for putting on the most exciting fight of the night. Everything else was very lackluster and anti-climactic.

He was referring to all his fights prior to saturday.

Its also a game changer when the ref. allows you to punch a guy 12 times in the nuts and just deducts a point and stops the fight entirely when the favrotie guy is rocked.
Now when Canelo tried that with Floyd, THE FIRST TIME he punched him in the balls, it was like "Boy, do that again and you're DQ". Canelo didnt have any more of those "accidental" low blows
Other than that he fought, smart, dirty as hell but smart for the limited boxer he is. We could see the work of Hopkins theree. A nice headbutt, a bunch of hooks to the balls and clinch like Bhops worst or maybe best fights.
It would be nice if that kind of garbage stopped for once. not just because of this fight, but in general dirty fights and bought judges and refs. give boxing a bad name.

He gave him a warning. He didn't even take a point let alone come close to Disqualifying Canelo.

In regards to Matthysse, I think you should just stop making excuses. He lost fair and square.

That what I mean, he told him do that again and you're DQ.
Come on now, you're going to tell me Canelo would have gotten away with punching Floyd in the nuts as many times as Garcia did to Matthysse? You know as well as I do that's not happening.

No, he didn't. He didn't even take any points.

Exactly. Because it just happened once as its supposed to if:
                      a) It really was an accident
b)You know you dont have the ref. in your pocket and you dont want to be DQ.
Now if you do have the ref. in your pocket, just go ahead and punch the guy a dozen times in the balls without worries. That's what we all saw, and you know it as well as I do.
