bro I lost my real money on Swift because I put it on him to KO Matthysse. My dude who predicted a decision (but apparently a "robbery") for Danny won all the sweepstakes money we put in.. $150 down the drain lol ah well I'm still pretty happy Danny got the W.. It was all friendly money so I expect some will come back in food and drink

I said this when the fight was signed, but nooooooobody believed me lol

They bought into that whole "Danny almost got stopped by Judah", but all I saw was a fatigued Danny losing his balance and catching his breath from the constant offense. I'm not saying he didn't take a lot of punishment or that he wasn't getting hurt, just he didn't show any signs of a rocked fighter; his eyes stayed alert, he was still watching Judah for an opportunity to time him. People underrated Danny's chin after he took killer combo's from Khan.

Exactly man, he has a titanium chin, they should have known that from the Khan fight, Khan hits harder than most people think, he's no malignaggi and those punches just bounced off of Danny. He's never been knocked down man, and neither has Lucas, they both have brilliant chins . Lucas showed great heart. Danny has underrated speed wow I was shocked at the speed, don't get me wrong you know I was riding with swift from the beginning Ric Dic but that speed impressed me, also seeing that Angel has a really long ring finger = high testosterone exposure = speed, power.

I hope Angel at least shows Lucas some respect post-fight. Danny proved the doubters wrong but Lucas is no bum, not by a long shot.

And also in the corner, even rounds I thought Danny won, Angel never let up telling him to stay sharp and watch Matthysse's power. Even on the shot that knocked his mouthpiece, Garcia didn't even really wobble. He felt it, but he wasn't nearly as hurt as everyone else has been from Lucas' power. What a chin.

Earl Hickey started a thread about if Swifty would quit. I always thought he had heart and balls. I could see it in the Khan and Judah fights. This guy is tougher than he looks. And he's solidly built.

From now on, every Matthysse opponent will try and get him into the later stages. He's shown to slow down and also shown he can be hurt.

Be interesting to see what he Lucas does from now on.

Garcia's chin and heart should never be in question. The way he ended the 11th was what champions are made of. Lucas did not really move him with his physical strength which I expected. That really surprised me, DSG held his own in there and got in good shots inside.

Lucas fought okay, the eye didn't help, but that's part of that fight. He was having trouble before the eye anyway, Danny could take his thunder and I think it gave Lucas pause. When Danny cracked him, I think Lucas realized he had to respect Danny's counters and at times, he was incredibly gun shy it seemed.

Lucas will have a hard road back, I'll be in his corner the whole way.

But that wasn't trolling on my part, I honestly think that's Mikey Garcia on that list. Even when Lucas' landed his power punches, Garcia took them well.
