Garcia close but clear, good performance, he didn't do anything special besides showing a great chin, I'm just surprised by how gun shy Matthysse was. His work rate was incredibly low and his closed eye didn't help.

Well, now we got an undisputed junior welterweight king.

Matthysse was getting tagged too much. Agree it was a close fight though.

I wanted Matthysse to win, but Garcia did a great job not letting Matthysse get many good shots in. Nice combinations, good defense, and showed he has an excellent chin. Very good win.

Hey, its boxing. Coudl have ended up with Danny catching a shot and going down before the 6th.
Matthysse has a damn iron chin, poor eye though.
Garcia can box way better than I tohught him capable of.
Lots of low blows and stopping the fight when the tide was going against Garcia, that much was expected, but again its boxing.
I gave Danny a 20% or 30% chance, dont remember, but sometimes you win sometimes you lose.
This time we lost.
