Mayorga had KO's and he had bad technique too. Garcia isn't that bad, he just can't afford to miss when he punches like that. Wide open for anything you want to throw at him.

I don't think Garcia is bsing when he says he's gonna try and get Lucas' respect. Here's my opinion:

Ummm WTF? Do you even watch these guys fight?

First of all, Matthysse keeps a constant pace so there's no weathering the early storm. Second of all, Garcia has looked the most vulnerable late in his fights. He was hurt by Morales and Judah both late in those fights.

When it comes to tactics Garcia is pretty limited in options. He's either gonna have to get Matthysse's respect early on or force him into exchanges and land one of the most ******ed hooks I've ever seen. But if he forces Matthysse into an exchange well, that could end very bad for him.

Only way I can really see Garcia winning is if Lucas gets reckless (which he has done before) and Garcia lands one of those ****** hooks.

That's basically his only chance IMO. Lucas needs to apply pressure but not get too reckless and eat one of those.

No reason to worry. Lucas is cautious when the fight's in doubt. It's only when he has his opponent hurt and he's going for the kill that he gets crazy. It will be really funny if Danny comes out winging and Lucas makes him look foolish. I kind of expect it for a round or two while Lucas lands his body shots.

Speak for yourself lol. The hardcore fans on either side deserve whatever is coming to them. The only recent fight where I've completely disliked and rooted against a fighter was JCC jr. I'll be alright if Garcia wins, it's gonna be annoying on here though.
